Hello SCI friends and welcome to our monthly workcamps newsletter...

This month's issue will explore all information on our SCI Climate for Peace Workcamps. Also everything you need to know on how to apply for a workcamp in video tutorial form. It is through workcamps we can remember our bond with nature. Our technocratic society has become saturated with so much stimulation and information it can be hard to process without balance and reconnecting with nature. So take the challenge of being closer to the calm and peace of the woods and forests and oceans and lapping fields.

Reminding ourselves of the quote “There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep Sea, and music in its roar: I love not Man the less, but Nature more," let us thread lightly with the respect and awe that nature deserves. You can find out more at sci.ngo. Enjoy!

In an effort to rescue them, the sea turtle eggs as well as the recently born sea turtles, the sea turtle sanctuaries collect the eggs and rebury them in protected areas in order to keep them safe. Once they hatch, the sea turtles are recorded and set free under the projection of the sanctuary staff. The sanctuaries are open to the public and provide information about the sea turtles and the work that the conservation provides.Read more here
